I’ll be praying for you all with the flu. It was really bad up here in our area several months ago. I had lots of students at the University out for a while. And then it hit me, too, and I was down for a week or so.

If you continually experience the same type of conflict (at work, with friends, with family, with church) over and over at some point you must recognize that you are the common factor in each of those situations. If you are the common factor, then maybe, perhaps you are the problem. Maybe you are the one that needs to change and not everyone else. Instead of running away from the conflict/problem begin to explore where the problems are really coming from and address them. This is really an exercise in building character. It is not an easy task but one that pays off in the end. Pastor, I’ve heard it described in this way.
